More “Analysis” On Purdue-Duke

Tonight we will go with the Duke Blue Devils moneyline. Purdue is a great team and will put up a fight, but we believe that Duke will come out with a win. Duke has dominated teams with their streaky three point shooting led by Kyle Singler and Jon Scheyer. Explosiveness from Gerald Henderson will also contribute to Duke prevailing over the Boilermakers. Duke moneyline tonight.
See. Now I am torn. On one hand I believe that the line value rests with Purdue. On the other I completely forgot that streaky* 3 point shooting mixed with a dash of explosiveness is the key to dominating the opposition in college basketball.
* – Maybe in the land where money is made streaky stands for shitty and dominated stands for beating up on bad teams because Duke’s 3 point shooting so far this year** has been nothing short of terrible.
** – Acknowledging that the sample size is virtually meaningless before someone else does.
They’ve dominated with their inconsistent shooting? I’m going to be lying awake tonight trying to figure out what the hell that means. Does he mean to say that they have won DESPITE their streaky shooting? My head hurts.

This actually isn’t true at all.
Big Balls might be on to something. Maybe the key to wining at gambling in the long-term is to try to figure out the games where Vegas is giving away free money and load up on them every time.
I hope Vegas never figures this angle out.
Just dropping in to say I like the new format of the site much better. Will you still be posting you Hilton selections in a similar manner? I always thought those were underrated posts.
