2009 NCAA Tournament Day #1

I’ll be around all day either at the live chat VW is hosting or in the comments here*.
Session #1
The North Ridge +19.5 +101 (4)
I played this last night. Wish I hadn’t. They’re widely available at 20.5 right now, which is the difference between them not covering before the 8 minute timeout in the 1st half and immediately after it.
Session #2
Nothing. Seriously. Biggest pass was Cal.
Session #3
Minnesota +4.5 -110 (4)
Akron +12.5 +115 (4)
You just know Gonzaga is going to negatively reinforce my decision to start playing sides at the best odds available again by winning by 13.
Session #4
Morgan St +16.5 -101 (4)
I fought myself hard here. I really, really, really want to play Illinois and UCLA right now. I’m trying to take comfort in the fact that those picks will only go 2-0 about 28% of the time at best, but right now in my mind that figure is more like 98%.
NIT/CBI/CIT
New Mex +5 -110 (4)
Rhode Island +1 -110 (4)
What? It’s not like I am the only person in the world who has more riding on golf and the NIT today than the NCAA Tournament.
* – Basically whenever I feel the need to swear and/or bitch about golf

Let the tease begin. Nice first rounds for Ames and Goggin.
“Let the tease begin. Nice first rounds for Ames and Goggin”
No kidding. It’s great that our ideas are starting to get validated more consistently, but some actual money would be nice too.
It’s only a matter of time, about 4 shots so far this season have meant probably a 30 unit swing for me. That doesn’t count the match play where we were as unlucky as possible.
