The NBA Playoffs: Where Not Showing Up For Game 3 Happens

I was going to use the term letdown to describe the performances of Cleveland, Orlando, and yes, Utah in last night’s Game 3’s, but that would have been too generous.
Wiz -5 -106 (3.5) – Was 108 Cle 72
So did the Wizards win because Lebron was “less pissed” or because the Cavs didn’t show up, and the Wiz they finally moved the ball on offense? Clearly I jest, but you have to love the people who will chalk up the result of a professional basketball game to one guy being angry.
Just like in Game 1 Lebron’s supporting cast played like garbage. There wasn’t a single Cav who looked remotely interested in being out there last night. And yes you can include Lebron James under that sweeping generalization. I think Cleveland need a vacation. Hopefully the ‘Zards will oblige.
Tor -4 -108 (1.5) – Tor 108 Orl 94
It probably wasn’t fair to lump the Magic and Jazz in with the Cavs. If the Orlando really had no desire to win Game 3 at least they pretended like they did. (Un) Fortunately they shot 6-27 from 3. That is 22.2%, which isn’t good for an 8th grade rec league team let alone an NBA team that generates a good chunk of their offense from beyond the arc. Hopefully these struggles continue into Game 4.
Jazz/Rockets Under 184 -106 (1.5) – Hou 94 Utah 92
Man do I hate totals. I would give up on them in a heartbeat if I wasn’t fully confident that they will someday become a nice profit center for me.
This one went over by 2 effing points. The blame rests on the shoulders of the 58 point 3rd quarter the teams put together.
I can’t believe Sloan and Co. gave this one away. Now they have to go back to Houston at least one more time this season, which is a fitting punishment really.
The return of Rafer Alston and the shitty shooting of Mehmet Okur were the two most obvious factors that allowed Houston to temporarily stem the tide of this series.
Yesterday NBA: 2-1, +3.44x
Yesterday MLB: 6-3, +2.91x

Not sure how the MLB wagers turned out last night, but I don’t believe there were nine of them.
Unless you had three unposted plays on Cliff Lee, which would have been quite smart.
Vegas,
I included the 3 daytime plays into that record.
I’m an idiot. Nice work.
I don’t know why its bad news ml???…I hardly lose, I’m up what you dream about…plus i’m not stupid enough to play daily like you..I pick my spots.
