At this rate the 2009 NFL season will surpass the 08-09 NBA campaign as my worst performance of all time by the end of the regular season. And that’s not even taking into account futures and contests.

10/27/09 — Rams +14 +100 (4), Rams +14 -105 (4) — Ind 42 Stl 6

10/27/09 — Clowns +9 -111 (4) — Gb 31 Cle 3

10/27/09 — Chefs +4.5 +108 (4) — Sd 37 Kc 7

10/27/09 — Tampon Bay +14.5 +101 (4) — Ne 35 Tb 7

I should have played these as a 4 team, 26.5 point teaser.

10/27/09 — Dallas -4 -110 (4) — Dal 37 Atl 21

10/27/09 — Dolphins +7 -110 (4), Dolphins +6 +103 (2) — No 46 Mia 34

This was by far the worst loss I have suffered so far this year in any sport. It’s not even debatable, and I have no desire to rehash it. If you care to relive it for yourself then read this thread from post #118-178.

10/27/09 — Giant Cardinals Under 46.5 -102 (3) — 41

Lots of strange bounces in this one; fortunately, at least for my purposes, they evened out in the end.

10/28/09 — Redskins +7.5 -110 (4) — Phi 27 Was 17

I’m not sure who summed this fiasco up better. Squeeky:

would have been better just trying to flush the cash down the toilet, maybe it would have plugged, and i would have been able to keep it.

Or Sham.

For those who were lucky enough not to watch, the Redskins did everything below (in order) and still managed to not cover by only a couple of points:

  1. Concede ridiculous 67 yard touchdown on reverse to DeSean Jackson
  2. Asinine pick 6 from deep in their own territory
  3. Fumble on ensuing possession allows Eagles to kick FG without picking up a 1st down
  4. Muffed punt allows Eagles to kick FG without picking up a 1st down
  5. Blown coverage gives Eagles a 57 yard TD on 3rd & 22
  6. Center snaps ball off own leg on 4th and goal from the 4.

Most of this can be attributed to the Redskins own incompetence, but even though they blow at football, I’d bet that you’ll be hard pressed to find another game this year where they manage do so this much stupid stuff. Fuck Us.
