Officially In For The Hilton

Even I had my doubts as to whether or not I could pull this off, but I am now officially registered for the Hilton contest with a trustworthy proxy on board to submit my picks. The hard part is taken care of. Now I just need to come up with quality selections for 17 straight weeks.
I am an elevator ride and a 3 minute walk away from one of the largest sports books in Las Vegas, and I still placed every single one of these offshore:
Rockies -153 (1)
Rizo -150 (1)
Rizo/Florida Over 9 -101 (1)
Baltimore -138 (1)
Twins +126 (1)
Spain +21.5 -106 (3)
Not sure how I missed the Blow Jays earlier. That sucks.

Just in case anybody new is curious about the format of this Hilton contest, from ML’s own words:
“You pick 5 NFL Games ATS each week.
Buy In Is $1,500
Prize Pool Is Around 750K. First place last year earned $259K.”
So this is, uh, a 3 unit buy in to win 54.8, right?
Er, 52.8. My head calculator took a minor lapse.
Or 51.8. I’m just going to stop for a while now; I’ve filled my retard quota.
I hope you aren’t an accountant.
Braves take the 8th, Sox lose it.
strange…
No, fortunately I’m involved with mathematics much more difficult than division. Otherwise, I’d be useless.
Tailed you on the Spain pick…excellent win.
You still don’t get it Cajun, do you?
You haven’t got the right number yet.
Yeah, scary to see what results Cajun obtains when he is doing math much more difficult than division.
See, in my little head I confuse digits that aren’t even there with zeros and change fives to twos and all sorts of other things. At least I got the digits right.. just multiply by a factor of ten!
Math that can be done with a calculator scares the shit out of me. I’ll talk advanced calculus and diffeq all season long if you need it, though.
Hey Guys.
I have a question regarding to the Hilton Contest.
Are there any comparable contests online?
Where everybody pays an entry fee and a prize pool for the winner is built?
Would be great.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Greetings.
Martin
I know of one, but it is for college football only:
