Ohio St Might As Well Not Show Up:

my question is…..why WOULDNT everyone be on USC?? what possible explanation can you have to justify taking OSU…..Carroll has proven he is a far better coach than tressell …..

I am from MN in big ten country,and I dont like USC at all,but I dont think there is anyway Ohio State can stay with 10 points of the trojans. They have proved that the last 2 yrs in big games,and I dont see this game being any different. Pete Carrol is 3 times the coach Tressel is,and being a home game,Usc will for sure have even a bigger atvantage. Plus USC has had a week to rest,and prepare for this game.

A big Ohio State fan here but there is no way that ANYONE can believe that they can stay close to USC Saturday.

These last two games against in state CUBCAKES has lefy me speachless to say the least.

Ohio U realy outplayed them for at least 3 quarters and maybe all 4 on both sides of the ball.

I really believe that the lopsided losses in the two last national chambibship games has taken its toll on this team.

USC has inproved and Carroll will open it up more than Trusell will and OSU will get behind like the two national champenship games and CAN NOT come back.

Give me USC for the largest bet of the year for me.

Maybe I am just a picky eater, but is CUBCAKE a real food?  If it is then how has PETA not made national news for protesting it yet?  It has to be a mistake.   Unless someone can verify that CUBCAKE is legitimate cuisine I am putting CUBCAKE in the not a typo HOF right next to ‘revambed’.

Anyways, this Carroll is 3x > Tressel talk is pure poppycock. They both have ridiculous track records so far in their careers. They are both also extremely overrated as game coaches. Probably equally so. It is easy to remember the recent NC game fiascoes for OSU and chalk it up to Tressel not being able to coach in big games, but what about Petey? He lost to Stanford as a fucking 40+ point favorite last year. He also blew the 2006 NC against Texas. Neither of these guys are geniuses.

I also find it amusing that OSU’s close game with Ohio last week is the primary reason behind a lot of the bets on USC.  The Ohio result is obviously built into the line. The spread for this game would have been between 3.5-7 in Week 1.

Beyond that, is OSU really the first good team ever to struggle in a look ahead game? Are they the first ones to sandbag a little? I’m not saying their struggles last week weren’t genuine, but the Buckeyes had absolutely no incentive to leave it all on the field against Ohio.

They still do not give this Kansas team any props.  This is one of the MOST underrated defense.  There defense will swallow Grothe all day and pressure him all day.  Kansas running game will be too much for the Bulls to withstand for four quarters.  Kansas too

Kansas likes their running game so much that they called more passes than runs in their first two games against CUBCAKE opponents. I wonder why a team with such a great ground game would do that.  Maybe they were trying to get ready to face one of the nations best rush defenses in Week 3.  Maybe their running game isn’t very good.  Maybe both.

Kansas shut out FIU and held Taylor Bennett to 10 points.  Those are some major CUBCAKES.  Let’s hold off on anointing them as one of the best defenses in the country for right now.

So far this year I am 19-12 on my games. 11-5 week one and a miserable 8-7 last week. Would be way ahead if I had the money to bet them individually. But since I group them together in 3 team parlays of $5.00-$10.00 each it has not been all that bad.

I hate those miserable 8-7 weeks too, and I am telling you people, IF bets, not Parlays, are a true degenerates solution to cash flow crunches.

MIchigan State -17 FAU has to be the worst 1-A Team there is.

Translation: Worst = team I know the least about. The Owls won the Sun Belt in 2007 and are favored by many to repeat this season. There are at the very least 20-30 teams that are worse than FAU.

California -14.5 Put up 66 offense clicking Maryland 1 step above FAU

Interesting. None of the preseason rankings I saw had Maryland at #119 in the nation.

Texas -24 Arkansas, FAU and Maryland should all be in the same conference so that one of them has a chance at winning it.

Arizona -10 like this pick simply because my ex wife lives in New Mexico and now I can’t stand the state. Not to mention Arizona has looked good last couple weeks

I can’t speak from experience, but these ex-wife angles do quite well from what I have heard.

NY Giants -8.5 over St. Louis- Rams look like the NFL version of FAU last week

Maybe the Rams should apply for admission into The Big CUBCAKE.

New England +2.5-Yes it really is +. Cassel is in for Brady but he has been in NE for 4 years and knows the system.

Everyone has their own style when it comes to handicapping games. Some people like their defenses to have speed and talent. Others prefer them to taste good.  Neither way is wrong really. I wonder if the Kansas D tastes as good as a properly prepared batch of CUBCAKES.

That he is a smart QB who won’t LOSE the game for his team. With the tools to work with around him, I believe he will start to prove a lot more this Saturday.

He proved this when exactly? During the blow out win over an undermanned Virginia squad? I know that Sanchez was able to pass USC’s rigorous rape awareness course, but I don’t think I am ready to label him as a “smart QB who won’t LOSE the game for his team” just yet.
